Job summary

Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council’s Quality and Performance Team handles performance data, management information and quality assurance across Housing and Communities. The role involves creating reports from large data sets drawn from multiple systems to support building safety, compliance and contract performance.

Experience with SAP is desirable. The successful candidate will be highly organised with strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills.

Job description

The Quality and Performance Team provide performance data, management information and quality assurance to the teams within the Housing and Communities Directorate. This includes Responsive Repairs, Voids Management, Compliance and The Building improvement Unit

About the job

The information handled by the team supports building safety and compliance and ensures an accurate record of current, previous, and future works in our council properties and any activities or documentation surrounding those works, such as inspections, surveys and certification.

The role involves producing a variety of reports, using large data sets that are taken from a collection of systems and databases. The team are responsible for ensuring information across the different systems is captured accurately and is in line with the processes set out by each operational team. Reports produced by the team are also used to enable performance management of our internal teams and external contractors.

What We Are Looking For From You

SAP is the core system used by the team, and it is desirable that the successful candidate has previous experience in using this system.

The successful candidate will be very organised, have good attention to detail and have strong analytical skills.
