Job summary

Home Service Group is seeking an experienced Business Development & Relationship Manager. This full-time role in Thames Ditton involves selling plumbing, heating and property services to commercial and residential clients, with significant commission-driven earning potential and an OTE around £75,000.

You will manage the full sales cycle, build robust client relationships, present tailored proposals, and lead negotiations to win new business while meeting revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in property, estate agency, maintenance or similar service-based sector.
• Proven experience in business development, sales or relationship management.
• Confident, personable and commercially focused approach.
• Strong ability to build relationships and develop new business.
• Comfortable prospecting, making approaches and converting opportunities.
• Confident negotiating and handling objections.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organised, persistent with follow-ups.
• Target-driven with a genuine desire to win new business and grow accounts.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sales process from prospecting through to securing new customers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the property and estate sector.
• Build strong relationships with prospective customers and understand requirements.
• Sell plumbing, heating and wider property services.
• Develop tailored commercial proposals and quotations with colleagues as needed.
• Lead negotiations and overcome objections to secure new business.
• Clearly communicate services, capabilities and points of difference.
• Maintain follow-ups to progress opportunities in the sales pipeline.
• Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and account growth.
• Achieve agreed new-business, revenue and account-growth targets.
