Job summary

Walker & Sloan are seeking a proactive Property Manager in North Somerset to oversee a portfolio of residential rental properties, working closely with landlords, tenants and contractors to ensure tenancies run smoothly and properties are well maintained and compliant.

This role is varied and hands-on, ideal for an organised professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering a high level of service.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management, lettings or similar preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and the ability to manage a busy workload.
• ARLA qualification would be beneficial but isn't essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of properties, acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance, working with contractors to ensure issues are dealt with efficiently.
• Manage tenancy renewals, rent-related matters and the end-of-tenancy process, including deposits.
• Build strong relationships with landlords and tenants, resolving queries and delivering a consistently high level of service.

You’ll have:

• Previous experience within property management, lettings or similar would be advantageous.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and the ability to manage a busy workload.
• A proactive approach with the confidence to solve problems and use your own initiative.
• Knowledge of lettings legislation and property compliance would be advantageous.
• ARLA qualification would be beneficial but isn't essential.
