Job summary

Linley and Simpson in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee tenancies, dealing with tenants, landlords and contractors to keep properties well maintained.

You will create inventories, conduct inspections, produce checkout reports, resolve disputes, and drive refurbishments and projects, with training available for candidates new to property management.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or lettings is preferred.
• Knowledge of current lettings legislation and wear & tear rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and planning abilities.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Sheffield Branch.As a Property Manager, you will be dealing with tenants, landlords and contractors to ensure properties are maintained.The salary ranges from£27,000 to £34,000 OTE.

The role is very varied and means every day is different and challenging, duties within this role are:

• Creation of detailed Inventories for new tenancies.
• Interim Inspections during tenancies.
• Creation of detailed checkout reports at the end of tenancies.
• Dispute resolution between tenants and landlords.
• Identifying refurbishments and implementation.
• Project management.

The ideal candidate with have experience of all the above disciplines and also a sound knowledge of current lettings legislation, an understanding of fair wear & tear, betterment and depreciation, however, training is also available if your background is not within Property Management and you are looking for a new challenging and rewarding career.

Transferable key skills required are:

• Excellent written and oral skills.

• Ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
