Job summary

Homes for Students is the UK's leading provider of student accommodation. The Maintenance Operative role at Press House in London involves 40 hours per week, 9:00am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and ensuring statutory compliance is maintained at all times.

You will report issues, liaise with suppliers and contractors, and work to deliver a fast, high-quality customer experience for reported faults and property conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property maintenance within a similar environment or trades experience across multiple disciplines.
• Knowledge of COSHH, Manual Handling and working at height.
• Awareness of Health and Safety requirements.
• Excellent customer care skills and ability to inform progress to individuals.
• Strong organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance within the property.
• Ensure statutory compliance is maintained at all times.
• Report issues and respond to faults quickly and accurately.
• Drive high-quality customer experience through fast fault resolution and property care.
