Job summary

Homes for Students Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Operative for The Paragon in London. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the property and ensure statutory compliance is maintained.

Working 40 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, you will be proactive, work with minimal supervision, and liaise with suppliers and contractors to maintain high standards of service and property condition.

Qualifications

• Previous property maintenance experience or trade qualification.
• COSHH, manual handling and working at height awareness.
• Strong health and safety knowledge.
• Excellent customer care and ability to report actions and progress.
• Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload with minimal supervision.
• Proactive, with initiative and problem solving.
• Flexible, team-oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance within the property.
• Ensure statutory compliance is maintained at all times.
• Maintain the property's condition and report issues promptly.
• Work with minimal supervision and liaise with suppliers and contractors.
• Drive a high-quality customer experience through fast fault response.
