Homes for Students in Bristol is seeking a Maintenance Operative on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the St Lawrence House and Harbour Court properties.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance is maintained at all times, maintaining the condition of the property, reporting and resolving faults quickly, liaising with suppliers and contractors, and delivering a high-quality customer experience through timely and

Competenze

• Previous property maintenance experience in a similar environment or qualified in a trade across multiple disciplines.
• Knowledge of COSHH, manual handling, working at height, etc.
• Awareness of health and safety issues and legal requirements.
• Excellent customer care and ability to report progress to stakeholders.
• Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience prioritising workload to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proactive approach with initiative to resolve issues quickly.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing tasks.
