Job summary

Kisimul Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Property Maintenance Supervisor for the Lincs North West region. The role reports to the Group Property Manager (North) and helps manage maintenance across residential care homes, schools and related properties.

You will proactively plan and oversee both in-house and external works, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery while coordinating with care home and school managers and contractors.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent (or approved alternative).
• Trade qualifications desirable but not essential if time-served experience is sufficient.
• A class B manual driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Group Property Manager (North) with developing and delivering an efficient planned and proactive property maintenance service.
• Assist in ensuring arrangements for unplanned or emergency works are in place.
• Oversee external contractors and ensure work is completed to required standards and safety.
• Record information legibly and accurately; report faults and hazards promptly.
• Liaise with Care Home/School Managers regarding planned and reactionary works.
• Schedule works, coordinate internal and external labour, and procure materials/equipment as needed.
• Apply Health and Safety Regulations and Safe Systems of Work, including risk assessments and permits to work.
• Organise and supervise the work of operatives and contractors, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Attend meetings and training as required; maintain good department housekeeping.
• Recognise that residents/pupils and their representatives are the client and act accordingly.
