Insignis is seeking a Property Maintenance Manager to lead a trades team within the Property Services function. The role focuses on safe, timely outcomes for customers and managing a substantial annual budget.

The ideal candidate will oversee data quality in property systems, enforce HSE/CDM compliance, and collaborate with residents to co-create maintenance services across the locality. Some travel and a valid UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a customer-focused maintenance team.
• Strong budgeting and income/expenditure forecasting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate/advanced).

Responsabilités

• Delivering the right outcome for our customer in a safe and timely way.
• Responsible for a budget of circa £1 million per annum.
• Managing a team of trades (plumbers, carpenters, builders, plasterers).
• Maintaining high quality data within the property systems.
• Setting and maintaining safe working practices in line with Health and Safety legislation and CDM.
• Understanding local customer, asset and investment needs across your locality.
• Engaging with residents and groups to develop co-created services.
• Experience managing customer-focused teams for maintenance delivery.
• Planning workstreams to deliver within a customer-focused environment.
• Planning, tracking and forecasting income and expenditure against budgets to deliver value for money; mitigating risks.
• Operate with commercial acumen; ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office; travel with a car and UK driving licence may be required.

Property Maintenance Manager

A larger Property Landlord who owns in excess of 80,000 homes is looking to recruit a Property Maintenance Manager to manager a Team of trades working within the Property Services team

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering the right outcome for our customer in a safe and timely way
• Responsible for a budget or Circa £1million PA
• Managing a team of Trades, Plumbers, Carpenters, General Builders, Plasterers etc
• Maintaining high quality data within the property systems
• Setting and maintaining high levels of safe working practices in line with Health and Safety legislation and CDM
• Ensuring a detailed local knowledge of customer, asset and investment needs across your locality
• Engaging and working with residents and groups to develop co-created services
• Experience of managing customer focused teams for the delivery of maintenance services
• Demonstratable knowledge of planning the delivery of workstreams in a customer focused environment
• Ability to plan, track and forecast income and expenditure against relevant budgets, to deliver a value for money service whilst taking actions to mitigate any risks
• Ability to operate with commercial acumen
• Knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation with focus on compliance within all activities undertaken by the teams
• Proficient use of Microsoft office suite with Intermediate or advanced Excel skillsThere will be some travel involved with this role so you should be happy to travel, have access to a car and a full UK driving licence.
