Job summary

A property management firm in Ware, UK, is seeking a passionate and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of a stunning 77-bedroom property. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a hotel setting, along with qualifications in plumbing or electrical work. Responsibilities include managing a team, ensuring compliance with health standards, overseeing budgets, and conducting repairs. Qualifications

• Experience in managing a team within a hotel establishment.
• Excellent working knowledge of Health and Safety and Fire Regulations.
• Ability to train and mentor junior members of the maintenance team.
• Trade-based qualification such as Plumbing, Electrical or Carpentry.
• Ability to manage a range of basic maintenance repairs.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively manage the maintenance of the property.
• Ensure response and repair times are in line with company standards.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and provide repairs where possible.
• Implement energy saving ideas and monitor energy usage.
• Be the point of contact for outside contractors and maintenance issues.
• Participate in and oversee the refurbishment of all areas.
• Responsible for annual budget and monthly forecasts for the department.

Lime Recruit is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager for stunning property. The Ideal Maintenance Manager will have previous experience in a similar role and will be passionate and enthusiastic about making a difference. You will have a trade of some description and be able to pro-actively manage a small team

The Role

• Pro-actively manage the maintenance of the property
• Overseeing a small team to ensure response and repair times are in line with company standards
• Ensure H&S procedures are adhered to and updated where needed
• Implement energy saving ideas to support the hotel in its future proofing quest and monitor energy usage
• Be the point of contact for outside contractors and any maintenance issues
• Participate and oversee the refurbishment of all areas in the property
• Responsibility for the annual budget and monthly forecasts relating to the department
• Conduct routine equipment checks and provide repairs where possible

The Person

• Passionate, enthusiastic and well presented
• Experience in managing a team within ahotel establishment
• Ideally hold a recognised qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

• A skill based qualification such as Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry etc.
• Ability to deal with a wide range of basic maintenance repairs
• Train and mentor junior members of the maintenance team
