Company Description

We are an established family run property maintenance and cleaning business called Edwards Cleaning and Property Maintenance Services, based in West Bridgford, and we cover all of Nottingham.

We have a prolific portfolio of commercial properties and it is growing even more! As such, we need a new pair of experienced hands to join our friendly team.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Property Maintenance and Commercial Property Cleaner at Edwards Cleaning and Property Maintenance Services.



The role involves day-to-day tasks related to property maintenance and cleaning services, with more information below.

Qualifications

Communication and Customer Service skills
Experience in Commercial Real Estate and Residential Real Estate
Sales skills
Attention to detail and time management abilities
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
Experience in property maintenance or cleaning services is a plus
Driving Licence and own vehicle
Skills Required:

Basic handyman repairs (e.g. fixing doors, hinges, handles)
Painting and decorating
Plastering and patch repairs
Basic plumbing (e.g. fixing leaks, unblocking drains, changing taps)
Basic electrical (e.g. changing light fittings, sockets, resetting breakers)
Assembling furniture
Installing shelves, curtain rails, or blinds, pictures
Lock and key repairs / basic locksmith tasks
Window and glass repairs
Using power tools safely
Jet washing (patios, driveways, building exteriors)
Gutter clearing and maintenance
Basic fencing repairs
Lawn mowing and basic garden maintenance
Rubbish removal / fly-tip clearing
Graffiti removal
Working at height safely (ladder safety, roof checks)
Manual handling awareness
COSHH awareness (handling chemicals safely)
Fire alarm testing / emergency light testing
Property inspections and reporting issues
Familiar with risk assessments or method statements
Comfortable working alone on site
Able to use a maintenance app or digital reporting system
Full UK driving licence
Own tools and equipment (if not, this can be flexible)
Presentable, professional, healthy and physically fit, friendly and approachable.
Experience working in commercial or tenanted properties


Salary: £13.50/ hourly rate, to be increased for the right experienced candidate.
