Job description

An experienced Domestic Property Adjuster is required to join a reputable and long-established Insurance Provider who are market-leading, fast-paced, and innovative with a real passion about Customer Care.

You will join their specialist Property Adjusting team who offer a dedicated service to help customers throughout the lifecycle of their claim. You will carry out site visits throughout the North East region assessing Property Damage claims up to £100,000, covering all peril related losses.

Key Responsibilities

1. Carry out site visits to policyholders properties to assess damage and produce schedule of work utilising Symbility to settle claims
2. Manage domestic property claims up to £100,000
3. Proactively manage your own caseload of claims from start to finish
4. Build relationships with Surveyors/internal stakeholders
5. Identify potential recoveries/internal stakeholders
6. Make decisions to mitigate losses and prevent secondary damage

About You

1. Previous/current experience managing your own caseload of Domestic Property Claims in a technical environment
2. Field Adjusting experience visiting policyholders' home to assess/validate damage
3. Scopes experience using Symbility or similar tools
4. Knowledge of validating schedule of works
5. Excellent IT/systems experience - Microsoft
6. CII/CILA qualification preferred but not essential
7. Full clean driving licence

Salary & Benefits

1. Salary up to £45,000 per annum
