Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a talented solicitor to join its Property Finance team in London. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload advising lenders and borrowers on secured lending, bridging finance, and complex property transactions.

We welcome applications from lawyers with roughly 3–4 years PQE (or equivalent) who understand commercial and residential property, can draft and negotiate finance documents, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years PQE preferred; others considered based on expertise.
• Proven lenders on secured lending matters.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and residential property transactions.
• Experience with bridging finance and property finance work.
• Excellent technical ability and commercial awareness.
• Strong client relationships and business development skills.
• Thrives in fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proactive, confident, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Advise on secured lending and property finance matters.
• Draft and negotiate finance and security documentation.
• Liaise with borrowers' solicitors and other advisers.
• Review title documentation and legal reports efficiently.
• Advise on title insurance and risk mitigation.
