The firm acts for a broad range of banks, specialist lenders, bridging finance providers and commercial clients, advising on a varied portfolio of secured lending transactions. The Role:

The team is seeking a commercially minded Property Finance Solicitor to handle a varied lender-side caseload, primarily acting on a sole representation basis.

You will work on a range of secured lending and bridging finance transactions, with responsibilities including:

• Preparing and negotiating loan and security documentation.
• Advising on third-party mortgages and deeds of priority.
• Liaising with borrowers' solicitors and other professional advisers.
• Reviewing title documentation and legal reports.
• Identifying title risks and advising on appropriate solutions.
• Dealing with title insurance and related matters.

You will work alongside experienced colleagues, gaining exposure to established lender relationships while taking ownership of transactions and developing your technical expertise.

The Candidate & Benefits:

• The firm is ideally looking for a Solicitor with 3-4 years' PQE, although candidates with slightly more or less experience will be considered.
• You should have experience acting for lenders on secured lending transactions, ideally on a sole representation basis, with a good understanding of bridging finance, loan documentation, third-party mortgages and property security.
• You will be technically strong, commercially aware and confident managing transactions in a fast-paced environment. An interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business development would also be advantageous.
