NC Associates are working on an exclusive basis with a long-established and forward-thinking property organisation based in Manchester city centre, which is looking to recruit a Property Client Accountant. You will work closely with property surveyors and the senior management team. As a Property Client Accountant, you will play an essential role in delivering robust financial information alongside the rest of the finance team. This is a great opportunity to build on your experience within a fast-paced property organisation, with long-term career development being a key feature of the company.

Property Client Accountant Responsibilities include:

1. Month-end analysis of the P&L
2. Periodic reporting to clients (standard reports plus additional as required)
3. Balance sheet reconciliations
4. Client accounts preparation
5. Service charge reconciliations and adjustments if needed
6. Processing adjustments and reconciling to the system
7. Providing financial support to the Property Managers
8. Processing quarterly VAT returns

Experience Required:

• Previous experience working within the property sector is essential
• Experience with service charges is desirable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
• Highly efficient and well-organised
• Proactive attitude
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
• Ability to organise workload and prioritise effectively
• Excellent communication skills and good telephone manner
