Job summary

Beazley Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Claims Manager – Property to lead individual claims and portfolio management, ensuring timely settlements and high client service. You will work with underwriters, brokers and insureds, developing claims strategies and maintaining Beazley standards.

Ideal candidates are graduate calibre with strong analytical and communication skills; experience in Open Market Property and D&F is preferred, along with solid regulatory knowledge for UK markets.

Qualifications

• Claims handling experience ideally focused on Open Market Property and D&F.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage individual claims from notification to closure with appropriate involvement.
• Develop, iterate and execute claims strategies considering uncertainties and costs.
• Follow Beazley’s Reserving Philosophy, Standards and Treating Customers Fairly policy.
• Review portfolio performance and keep reserves up to date per controls and standards.
• Engage with underwriters at client meetings to discuss claims experience and trends.
• Provide input on insured claims experience and potential renewals.
• Escalate and resolve conflicts in line with policy and procedures.
