Cedar, a growing multi-site business in the United Kingdom, is seeking a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant to take ownership of property accounting across a diverse portfolio of locations. The role suits a commercially minded professional with proven multi-site retail or FMCG experience and strong technical accounting skills.

You will partner with Property, Operations and Finance teams, manage leases under IFRS 16, own store P&Ls, budgets and month-end processes, and drive cost control

Formación

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA is essential.
• Proven multi-site experience in retail or FMCG accounting across multiple locations.
• Strong understanding of property related costs and IFRS 16 lease accounting.
• Experience managing a team and partnering with non-finance stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Manage property accounting across multiple sites, including rent, service charges, utilities and business rates.
• Ensure lease accounting, accruals and reconciliations in line with IFRS 16.
• Own store level P&Ls, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis, identifying cost trends and savings opportunities.
• Review landlord invoices and service charge statements, investigate discrepancies and allocate costs accurately.
• Partner with Property, Operations and Finance teams to provide insight into property costs and site profitability.
• Support month end and year end reporting, audits and statutory accounts with strong financial controls.
