Cedar Recruitment in Central London is seeking an Asset Accountant to own the fixed asset base across a multi-site estate, driving capital expenditure improvements and refurbishment projects. You will partner with senior stakeholders to support investment decisions, manage acquisitions, disposals, impairments and depreciation, and deliver robust month-end reporting.

This hybrid role offers collaboration with Technology and operations teams within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with fixed asset / asset accounting experience.
• Experience across multi-site environments.
• Retail/FMCG or asset-intensive background.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Understanding of IFRS / UK GAAP.
• Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management.
• ERP experience.

Responsabilités

• Own the fixed asset register and WIP across a multi site environment.
• Manage acquisitions, disposals, refurbishments, transfers, impairments and depreciation.
• Oversee accounting for new stores and refurbishment projects.
• Manage project accounting and capital expenditure.
• Partner with Technology and operational teams on budgets and investment.
• Analyse project spend, variances and ROI.
• Deliver accurate month end reporting and reconciliations.
• Support audit and improve finance processes.
