Job summary

Single Homeless Project is seeking a Project Worker at Milton House in Islington to support clients experiencing homelessness and related complex needs. You will manage a caseload, build trust, assess needs, and develop safety and support plans tailored to individual goals.

You’ll work with health, housing and other services to coordinate joined-up support, maintain records, and help clients progress toward stable outcomes in a compassionate, trauma-informed environment.

• Experience meeting people facing homelessness and complex needs.
• Patience, creativity and warmth in client work.
• Ability to hold a caseload and build trusting relationships.
• Ability to work with health, social care, housing and criminal justice partners.
• Commitment to recovery and empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Hold a caseload and build purposeful, trusting relationships with clients.
• Complete assessments, develop person-centred support and safety plans.
• Help clients identify meaningful goals and address health, housing, or daily living needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to coordinate joined-up support.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the safe running of accommodation.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to build skills.
