Job summary

360 Recruitment is seeking a Project/Site Manager for a major hospital project in South Wales. You will oversee a flooring package on site, coordinating with the Main Contractor and directing day-to-day delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong site management or project management experience, hospital experience is highly desirable, and you must be able to read construction drawings and manage crews safely and to specification.

Qualifications

• Strong site management or project management experience.
• Previous hospital or healthcare construction experience highly desirable.
• Ability to read, understand and challenge construction drawings.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing and site processes.
• Computer literate; CSCS is essential; SMSTS advantageous.

Project / Site Manager Major Hospital Project

Location: South Wales
Salary: £45,000 £55,000 + Car Allowance

I'm very to keen to speak with Main contracting level Site managers or Subcontracting level project managers who have experience workng in hospitals.

The successful candidate will oversee a specialist flooring package on site, working closely with the Main Contractor and managing the day-to-day delivery of the works.

The role will involve:

• Managing and coordinating works on site
• Overseeing Flooring specialist operatives and installation teams
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings
• Monitoring progress against programme
• Liaising with the Main Contractor and wider project team
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and to the required standard
• Providing progress updates and maintaining relevant site documentation

What we re looking for:

• Strong Site Management or low level Project Management experience
• Previous experience working within hospital or healthcare construction environments highly desirable
• Ability to confidently read, understand and challenge construction drawings
• Good understanding of construction sequencing and site processes
• Computer literate
• CSCS essential
• SMSTS advantageous
• Specialist flooring experience is not essential.

The focus is on finding a capable construction manager who can coordinate works, manage people and ensure the project progresses efficiently.

Permanent employment is preferred, although experienced freelance managers are also encouraged to get in touch.
