Job summary

Professional Construction Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor / Foreman for a new hospital build in the High Wycombe area. The role focuses on on-site supervision, enforcing health and safety standards and signage across subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.

The candidate will act as the eyes and ears of Site Management, reporting daily, and addressing issues promptly. Opportunities exist to grow responsibilities as the project progresses and additional duties may be

Qualifications

• First Aid certification is required.
• SSSTS/SMSTS certification is required.
• CSCS card is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the eyes and ears of Site Management on the ground to monitor works.
• Ensure subcontractors follow project Health and Safety guidelines and signage is correct.
• Report daily on site safety, progress and any issues, and escalate where needed.

Job description

Site Supervisor / Foreman

Site Supervisor / Site Foreman required for a new build Hospital project in the High Wycombe area.

Looking for applicants who have previously worked on hospital or healthcare projects and are able to maintain a high level of health and safety across a project.

The successful candidate will be out on site as the eyes and ears of the Site Management team ensuring subcontractors are working safely and following the project Health and Safety guidelines. Ensuring all site safety signage is correct and in place. Making sure everyone is working in a safe environment, reporting back to Site Management on a daily basis.

Looking for someone who won't just walk past a problem, but deal with the problem in a suitable manner.

Its currently very early days on the project and it's a great opportunity to grow in experience as the project progresses. As the project gets busier the successful candidates remit on site may grow to include other duties and for the right person follow on projects will be offered.
