Project Site Manager – EV Connections

Location: South Midlands / North London (Field-based across Southern UK)

Employment Type: Permanent

PureFuel is currently working with a leading ICP delivering a growing pipeline of EV infrastructure projects across the South of England. They are looking to hire a Site Manager with a strong background in HV connections (11kV) and experience overseeing the delivery of multi-utility or I&C connection works.

The company is scaling rapidly due to several long-term contracts with major clients and now needs a capable, hands-on operator to manage multiple fast-paced sites across the region. You will oversee the construction and electrical delivery of ultra-rapid EV charging installations, including substation builds and HV off-site works, often in high-profile, live commercial environments.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing daily site operations across active projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with specifications.
2. Coordinating civils and electrical teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring site compliance.
3. Serving as the main point of contact between clients, delivery teams, and senior management.
4. Overseeing multiple sites at different stages, from civils to energisation.
5. Supporting progress reporting and maintaining commercial visibility across projects.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Extensive site experience with 11kV power connections, especially within EV, commercial I&C, or multi-utility infrastructure.
• Experience managing contractors and electricians on active sites.
• Background in DNO, ICP, or high-volume utilities contracting environments.
• Hands-on experience or previous management of on-site personnel.
• Based within reach of the Home Counties / South Midlands preferred, but flexibility to cover multiple locations is essential.
