Job summary

Trevett Project Services is seeking an experienced Project Site Manager for a 6-month modular construction project in Cornwall. The role will drive pre-start activities, coordinate contractors, and ensure the site is prepared for early November works.

You will manage day-to-day site activities, oversee modular and civils works, read project programmes, and maintain health & safety standards. BPSS/SC clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Experienced Project Site Manager with a strong site presence.
• Experience managing modular construction, refurbishment or building projects.
• Strong subcontractor management and coordination experience.
• Ability to read and work to construction programmes.
• Strong communication, reporting and client-facing skills.
• Experience reviewing RAMS and managing site health & safety.
• Comfortable working within a secure environment.
• Ability to obtain BPSS and SC Clearance.

Responsibilities

Project Site Manager Modular Construction

Location: Launceston, Cornwall
Rate: £350 per day CIS
Contract: Temporary 6 months

Trevett Services are working with a leading national facilities management and engineering services provider to recruit an experienced Project Site Manager for a 6-month modular construction project based in Pennygillam, Cornwall.

The project involves the installation of modular buildings onto existing foundations, including associated civils works. The successful candidate will initially be responsible for driving pre-start activities, coordinating contractors and ensuring the site is fully prepared for works commencing in early November.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-start activities, site mobilisation and contractor coordination.
• Manage day-to-day site activities throughout the project.
• Oversee modular contractors, subcontractors and associated civils works.
• Read and interpret project programmes, monitoring progress against key milestones.
• Review and approve RAMS, ensuring compliance with site health & safety requirements.
• Provide regular project updates and progress reports.
• Liaise directly with the client, contractors and wider project team.
• Coordinate works to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
• Support project planning and coordination across relevant RIBA stages.
