Qualifications

• Experience as Project Surveyor or QS in social housing planned works.
• Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, roofing and external refurbishments.
• Strong cost control, forecasting, valuations, CVRs, and final accounts.
• Client-facing experience and stakeholder management.
• Relevant qualification in QS or related discipline desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of planned maintenance projects from mobilisation through to final account across North Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
• Control project costs, including budgets, forecasts, cost plans, valuations and monthly financial reporting.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, including tendering, negotiation, contract administration and ongoing commercial performance.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities while maintaining strong cost control and contractual compliance across each programme.
• Build client and stakeholder relationships, providing clear commercial reporting and supporting operational teams to deliver projects successfully.
