Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a long-established contractor delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment across Social Housing. You will own your contracts and work closely with the Senior QS and operational team.

You should have commercial experience in Planned Maintenance, Social Housing or Property Services, with knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates and managing cost/value from valuation to final accounts across roofing, windows/doors and refurbishment.

Qualifications

• The key requirement is commercial experience within Planned Maintenance, Social Housing, Property Services or Refurbishment.
• Experience with NHF Schedule of Rates.
• Ability to manage commercial processes from valuation through to final account.
• Understanding of cost and value management.

Responsibilities

• You will be involved in planned maintenance and refurbishment contracts across Social Housing.
• Take genuine ownership of your contracts from valuation through to final account.
• Work closely with the Senior QS and operational team.
• Provide commercial insight and control to projects (roofing, windows & doors, refurbishment).
