Carmarthenshire Compass Service is seeking a Project Officer to join our team on a part-time basis (12 hours per week) on a fixed-term contract until March 2027. The role involves working with people with learning disabilities to raise awareness of the service and support adults with learning disabilities to co-produce the services they want to see.

This position is not office-based; regular travel around the Carmarthenshire area is required.

The Project Officer will:

• Support the team in raising awareness of the service among people with learning disabilities in the area
• Attend events to promote the service
• Build relationships with adults with learning disabilities to help them communicate their needs within their communities
• Establish networks across local community groups
• Explore opportunities for people with learning disabilities to connect with others and community groups in Carmarthenshire
• Support individuals to build trust and confidence in themselves
• Work closely with team members

• Yn cynorthwyo pobl ag anabledd dysgu i feithrin ymddiriedaeth a chred ynddyn nhw eu hunain
