Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our expanding Infrastructure business, supporting clients in delivering water projects and programs across the Central South region.

Given the complex nature of these projects, this role is suited to Project Managers from a civil engineering background, ideally with water sector experience. NEC accreditation is also preferred.

Typically, Project Managers handle commissions of varying sizes, usually between £1m and £10m, depending on project complexity. In supporting roles, project sizes may be larger.

• Lead project management commissions, overseeing end-to-end service delivery.
• Support major project management commissions, focusing on specific aspects of service delivery.
• Ensure client objectives are met, and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Qualifications

Key Performance Indicators include:

• Managing projects to quality standards, efficiency, timeliness, and budget.
• Meeting client objectives and adhering to appointment conditions.
• Effective leadership of project teams.
• Building strong relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Discharging line management responsibilities effectively.
• Identifying and acting on business development opportunities.
• Monitoring internal financial status of projects.
• Effective communication and data management.

Qualifications:

• NEC (3/4) accreditation preferred.
• Chartered or qualified status with ICE, APM, RICS, etc., is advantageous.
• Degree qualification in a construction-related subject is preferred.
