Job Description

Within the South West region, our infrastructure team has a strong presence in Transport and Utilities. Over the past years, we have experienced significant growth and offer various opportunities to develop experience across multiple projects and programmes. We are seeking Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to help deliver high-profile projects in Client PM and NEC ECC PM roles.

Job Objectives

• Manage NEC PSC and/or ECC contracts;
• Lead and develop project teams or work streams within larger projects to deliver results;
• Ensure high-quality delivery on client assignments;
• Build long-term trusted advisor relationships with clients;
• Develop solutions, supporting tools, and methods;
• Coordinate with service line teams, account teams, and specialists;
• Communicate effectively, focusing on collaborative and quality delivery.

Desired Experience

• Experience working with UK Government and Local Authority organizations, especially Flood Risk Asset Management Authorities, Environment Agency, and Water Companies;
• Managing small to medium-sized teams collaboratively with other organizations;
• Experience in project and programme management from strategic planning to delivery in infrastructure projects;
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure safety and environmental standards;
• Analytical skills and ability to develop workable solutions;
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
• Excellent planning and organizational skills;
• Effective written communication and meeting participation;
• Experience with NEC contracts and managing contractors is advantageous;
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and Asset Management;
• Driving license preferred due to travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Project management certification (APM or PRINCE2);
• Degree or HND in engineering or construction;
• Professional qualification with ICE, CIWEM, APM, or similar is advantageous;
• NEC3 or NEC4 PM Accreditation;
• Desirable: CITB Site Management Safety Training Course;
• Full UK Driving Licence.
