Job Description

Our infrastructure team in the South West region has strong positions in Transport and Utilities, with significant growth and diverse project opportunities. We are seeking Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to help deliver high-profile projects in client PM roles & NEC ECC PM roles.

We value passionate individuals with a positive outlook, development ambitions, and a solid technical foundation.

Job Objectives

1. Manage and administer NEC PSC and/or ECC contracts.
2. Lead and develop project teams or work streams within larger projects to deliver results.
3. Ensure high-quality delivery on client assignments.
4. Build trusted relationships with clients.
5. Develop solutions, supporting tools, and methods.
6. Coordinate with service line teams, account teams, and specialists.
7. Communicate effectively, focusing on collaborative and quality delivery.

Desired Experience

• Experience with UK Government and Local Authority organizations, especially Flood Risk Asset Management Authorities, Environment Agency, and Water Companies, is beneficial.
• Experience managing small to medium teams in collaborative efforts.
• Background in project/program management from strategic planning to delivery in infrastructure.
• Strong interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to handle complex, cross-functional projects safely and efficiently.
• Analytical, numerical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to produce high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
• Motivated, committed, and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent planning and organization skills.
• Effective written communication and meeting participation skills.
• Experience with procurement and NEC contracts is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience managing contractors and consultants on civil engineering projects.
• Knowledge of lessons learned, knowledge capture, CDM Regulations, and Engineering/Asset Management.
• Driving license preferred due to potential travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Project management certification (APM or PRINCE2).
• Degree or HND in engineering or construction.
• Professional qualification with ICE, CIWEM, APM, or similar is advantageous.
• NEC3 or NEC4 PM Accreditation.
• CITB Site Management Safety Training Course desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
