Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join our Nottingham office, supporting projects in the High-Tech & Manufacturing sector.

Main Purpose of Role

• Lead project management commissions, ensuring end-to-end service delivery for large or complex projects.
• Act as the primary client interface, ensuring objectives are met within time, cost, and quality standards.

Scope

Manage commissions up to approximately £40m, with larger advisory projects.

Project Management Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice at project inception to achieve client objectives.
• Establish success criteria including time, cost, and performance parameters.
• Manage quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Set up project governance, processes, and systems.
• Develop detailed project plans and advise on resource procurement.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and monitor performance using KPIs.
• Handle change control and project finances.
• Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders, producing progress reports.

Marketing and Business Development

• Develop new business opportunities and cross-selling strategies.
• Assist in bid preparation and client pitches.
• Maintain project case studies and documentation.

Internal Management

• Manage staff and input into recruitment and appraisals.
• Ensure knowledge sharing and financial management.
• Identify process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
