Project Manager / Senior Project Manager (High-Tech & Manufacturing) - Real Estate

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join our busy and expanding Nottingham office, supporting our clients in the High-Tech & Manufacturing sector.

Main Purpose of Role

• Lead project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex projects.
• Act as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Scope

Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale and value; typically up to £40m, depending on project complexity. Advisory services may involve larger projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic advice at project conception and recommending approaches to achieve client objectives.
• Establishing success criteria for time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
• Managing quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Setting up project governance, processes, and systems.
• Developing detailed project plans.
• Advising on resource procurement.
• Leading cross-functional project teams.
• Monitoring performance using KPIs.
• Managing change control and project finances.
• Facilitating communication between the team and client.
• Producing project progress reports.
• Interfacing with clients and consultants throughout all project stages.

Marketing and Business Development

• Developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
• Identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborating on bids for new work.
• Participating in client pitches.
• Maintaining project documentation and case studies.
• Improving project management products and services.

Internal Management Responsibilities

• Staff management, including recruitment and performance reviews.
• Ensuring key project information is recorded and shared.
• Monitoring project financials and client invoicing.
• Identifying process improvements.

Experience and Skills

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Professional qualification (e.g., MCIOB, APM).
• Proven experience managing High-Tech & Manufacturing projects, preferably in consultancy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
