Project Manager / Senior Project Manager (High-Tech & Manufacturing) - Real Estate

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Nottingham office, supporting projects in the High-Tech & Manufacturing sector.

Main Purpose of Role

• Lead project management commissions, overseeing end-to-end service delivery, particularly for large or complex projects.
• Serve as the primary client interface, ensuring project objectives are met within time, cost, and quality standards.

Scope

Manage projects of varying scale and value, typically up to £40m, with larger advisory projects as applicable.

Responsibilities include:

• Strategic advising at project conception, including approach selection to meet client objectives.
• Establishing success criteria covering time, cost, technical, and performance aspects.
• Managing quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Implementing effective governance, processes, and systems.
• Detailed project planning and resource procurement advice.
• Leading cross-functional teams and monitoring performance with KPIs.
• Managing change control, finances, and project communication.
• Interfacing with clients and consultants throughout project stages.

Marketing and Business Development

• Develop new business with existing and new clients.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to bid construction.
• Attend client pitches and maintain project documentation.

Internal Management

• Staff management, including recruitment and appraisals.
• Ensure knowledge sharing and financial management.
• Identify process improvements.

Experience and Skills

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Professional qualification (e.g., MCIOB, APM).
• Proven experience managing High-Tech & Manufacturing projects, preferably in consultancy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
