Overview

Project Manager – Roofing & Cladding Refurbishment. Reference Number: [removed]. Industry sectors include industrial and commercial roofing, refurbishments, waterproofing, liquid applied systems, single ply, sheeting, cladding, and related surveying/specifier activities. Area to be covered: Nationwide. Ideal living location: M62 corridor.

Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000, with a performance-related bonus. Benefits: Company vehicle, NEST pension, 25 days annual leave, phone, laptop.

Responsibilities

• Project Manager position dealing with various industrial and commercial contract services including; flat roofing, roof cladding, wall cladding, over cladding, slating & tiling, asbestos removal, refurbishments and safety systems
• Managing all aspects of the contracts from the tender stage through to completion
• Monitoring all site activity; organising site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks
• Organising the delivery of all materials that will be needed on site and ensuring they arrive on time
• Keeping all works moving smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining project cost plans
• Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project
• Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients
• Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation

Ideal applicant profile

• Must have management experience in the roofing, sheeting, or cladding market sector
• Project Managers, Contracts Managers, Site Managers, Site Supervisors, Contracts Supervisors would all be considered
• NVQ level 6 or equivalent
• SMSTS / SSSTS
• Full UK driving license
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to plan and organise deliverables
