Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the intelligent infrastructure group within Operations & Safety. The role focuses on delivering complex transport projects across the UK, with emphasis on strategy, design, and operational monitoring.

You will manage budgets, client interfaces, and project controls while mentoring team members. The role supports hybrid working and development through Chartered status programs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or relevant experience.
• Awareness of PM methodologies across project lifecycle.
• Certification such as APMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner or ITIL Foundation.
• Experience managing finances, especially on Oracle ERP.
• Ability to lead and mentor project team members.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of project management services and leadership to deliver projects on time, to quality, and within budget.
• Manage project budgets and finances, including invoicing, cash collection and forecasting on Oracle ERP.
• Ensure the delivery of client outcomes, whilst meeting utilisation targets and reviewing performance with the Project Director.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, stakeholders, colleagues and project teams.
• Delivers reports, presentations and project management documentation including status reports and quality plans.
• Direct the development and deployment of project control methodologies to support proposals and delivery.
