AVD Appoint is seeking a Project Manager to lead NPI/NPD programs for a Glamorgan-based technology company.

Project Manager - NPI/NPD - Glamorgan - up to £50,000 + Relocation + Benefits - Ref 2059

I am currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work for a cutting-edge technology company based in Glamorgan Salary up to £50,000 + Relocation + Benefits.

The organisation has been in operation for many years and are worldwide leaders within the design, development, and manufacture of their highly intelligent products. As a business they turnover close to £100m, employ around 400 people and are constantly evolving their legacy products as well as designing and developing new innovative products to bring to market.

In line with demand for their products and to support the business with their growth plans they have the need to appoint another Project Manager on a permanent basis.

In this role as a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple complex Electro-Mechanical product development projects simultaneously via a gated process. This will be focused on NPI (new product introduction) / NPD (new product development) and will be from early concept stage, through to prototype and then production. You will be responsible for liaising with multidisciplinary departments to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of these projects ensuring they're on time, in budget and to the desired quality levels required.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Project Manager, Programme Manager, Project Engineer or similar
• Previous experience with NPI/NPD (new product introduction, new product development)

Desirable Requirements

• Understanding of Plastic Injection Moulding
• Experience working to highly regulated standards
• Experience with mechanical, electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems
