Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking an experienced NPI Project Manager to guide new product development from concept through production launch. You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and quality teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality products.

The role requires a proven track record in engineering/manufacturing projects and strong planning, stakeholder management, and multitasking abilities. Ongoing training and career development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience delivering projects through the full product development lifecycle.
• Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient with project management software and Microsoft Office.

• Manage new product introduction (NPI) projects from concept to launch.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers.

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in engineering, manufacturing or product development?

We're looking for a proactive and organised NPI Project Manager to lead new product development projects from concept through to production launch. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Quality teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage new product introduction (NPI) projects from concept to launch
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones and critical paths
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers
• Manage risks, issues, actions and project dependencies
• Lead project reviews, stage-gate meetings and reporting activities
• Coordinate prototype builds, testing and validation activities
• Support supplier management, procurement planning and BOM maintenance
• Drive continuous improvement across NPI processes and project delivery

About You

• Proven project management experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Experience delivering projects through the full product development lifecycle
• Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient with project management software and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems is desirable
• NPI, product development or manufacturing project experience would be advantageous
