Job summary

Bimplus, a well-established façade contractor, is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee façade remediation and re-cladding projects across the Plymouth area.

You will take full responsibility for projects typically valued between £1m and £5m, coordinating with in-house design and commercial teams and ensuring safety, QA and timely handover on occupied buildings.

The role offers a strong forward workload with a substantial pipeline across the South West.

Job description

A well-established façade contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee façade remediation and re-cladding projects across the Plymouth area.

The business operates nationwide with a turnover of circa £30m and works with a range of major housebuilders and developers. With a strong order book for the next two years and an in-house design capability, they have a growing pipeline of remediation work across the South West.

The Role

Acting as Principal Contractor, you will take full responsibility for projects typically valued between £1m–£5m, involving the removal of existing cladding systems, installation of new fire barriers and reinstatement of compliant façade systems on occupied buildings.

Responsibilities will include:

• Full project and programme management
• Labour and subcontractor management
• Client liaison and progress meetings
• Overseeing QA and project documentation
• Health & safety management
• Coordinating with the in-house design and commercial teams
• Managing works within occupied residential environmentsDriving projects through to completion and handover

The Candidate

You will need strong programming and organisational skills, a good understanding of fire barriers and façade systems, and the ability to confidently manage clients, labour, health & safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
