Albion Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a complex façade recladding and remediation scheme in Poole, Dorset. You will oversee the successful delivery from a principal contractor perspective, coordinating scaffolding, subcontractors, and site teams to meet tight programme milestones.

The role requires a strong cladding background, delivery focus, and the ability to liaise with design, commercial and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Previous Project Management experience within façades, cladding or building envelope.
• Proven experience delivering recladding / façade remediation projects.
• Experience operating under a Principal Contractor environment.
• Strong understanding of façade removal, remediation and reinstatement.
• Experience managing scaffolding and associated access packages.
• Excellent programme management and delivery experience.
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, buildability and site logistics.
• Confidence managing subcontractors, site teams and client relationships.

Project Manager - Façade Recladding & Remediation

Location: Poole, Dorset

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Package

Freelance: Day-rate / Ltd Company options also considered

We're working with a specialist façade remediation contractor looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for a complex recladding project in the Poole area.

The business currently turns over circa £15m and is entering an exciting period of growth, with plans to expand significantly over the next 12-18 months. They operate across London and the South of England, working with a number of major national housebuilders and developers, including Taylor Wimpey and Fairview Homes.

Their projects cover the full remediation process, from initial façade investigations and opening-up works through design development, procurement, supply, installation and final handover.

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a complex façade remediation scheme in Poole.

The project will involve significant remedial works and the removal and reinstatement of the existing façade. You'll be responsible for coordinating the works from a Principal Contractor perspective, with particular focus on programme, sequencing, subcontractor management, quality and safe delivery.

You won't be expected to do everything yourself. You'll have dedicated site management and supervisory support, alongside backing from an experienced Contracts Manager and Director.

About You

We're looking for somebody with a strong cladding / façade background who has previously delivered recladding or façade remediation projects.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous Project Management experience within façades, cladding or building envelope
• Proven experience delivering recladding / façade remediation projects
• Experience operating under a Principal Contractor environment
• Strong understanding of façade removal, remediation and reinstatement
• Experience managing scaffolding and associated access packages
• Excellent programme management and programme delivery experience
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, buildability and site logistics
• Confidence managing subcontractors, site teams and client relationships
• A practical, delivery-focused approach

The Opportunity

This isn't being viewed as simply a Project Manager for one scheme.

The company is going through a significant period of growth and wants someone who can grow with the business over the longer term. There will be opportunities to take on further responsibility as the company expands and its project portfolio develops.

Package: £65,000 - £75,000 + benefits/package.

The business is also open to experienced freelance Project Managers working on a day-rate / Ltd Company basis.
