Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager for a facade/cladding recladding project. You will lead day-to-day operations on site, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, within budget, and high quality as the on-site representative for the Principal Contractor.

Experience with rainscreen, cladding, glazing, or EWI, JCT Contracts, and managing multi-disciplinary teams is required. Role is freelance/contract with standard hours 08:00-17:00.

Qualifications

• Experience leading facade/cladding projects.
• Strong on-site safety and QA governance.
• Familiar with JCT contracts and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily briefings on site.
• Conduct H&S walkarounds each day.
• Review drawings for design compliance.

• Update weekly programme using MS Project.
• Identify project variations and scope changes.
• Chair weekly subcontractor meetings and attend client meetings.

The Company

My client operate with a dual capability, acting as both a Principal Contractor and a Specialist Subcontractor, allowing them to manage complex projects from design through to completion.

The Role - Project Manager or Senior Site Manager (Recladding)

You will lead day to day operations on site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Acting as the primary on site representative for the Principal Contractor, this role focuses on facade installation, building remediation, health and safety compliance, and subcontractor management.

• Lead daily briefings
• Conduct daily H&S walkarounds
• Conduct drawing reviews to ensure design compliance
• Manage quality control
• Update the weekly programme using MS Project
• Identify project variations
• Chair weekly meetings with subcontractors and attend client meetings
• Proven facade systems experience (rainscreen, cladding, glazing, or EWI).
• Proficient with JCT Contracts, including standard amendments.
• Principal Contractor background, managing multi-disciplinary teams.
