Job summary

Facades Talent Group are working with an established and growing facades contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team on site. You will manage day-to-day site activity across facades projects, supervise site teams and subcontractors, monitor progress against programme, and ensure works meet drawings, specifications and safety standards.

Experience in rainscreen, curtain walling or related building envelope systems and qualifications such as SMSTS/CSCS

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within facades, cladding, building envelope or related construction environment.
• Experience with rainscreen, curtain walling, SFS, render, EWI, insulation or re-cladding is advantageous.
• Confident in managing subcontractors and site teams with strong organisational and communication skills.

Job description

Facades Talent Group are working with an established and growing facades contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a background in facades, cladding, re-cladding or the wider building envelope sector.

The contractor delivers a variety of projects including new build, refurbishment, remedial works and re-cladding across the commercial, residential and public sectors.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of facades projects on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, Contracts Manager, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day site activities.
• Supervising site teams and subcontractors.
• Monitoring progress against the project programme.
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinating deliveries, materials and site logistics.
• Carrying out regular quality inspections.

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Site Manager within facades, cladding, building envelope or a related construction environment.

Experience across systems such as rainscreen, curtain walling, SFS, render, EWI, insulation and re-cladding would be highly advantageous.

You will be confident managing subcontractors and site teams, with strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Relevant site management qualifications such as SMSTS, SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid would be advantageous.
