Project Manager – Civil Engineering

Location: Regional (Office & Site-Based)

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Car/Allowance + Benefits

Our client is a reputable and growing regional civil engineering contractor with a diverse portfolio across the highways, bridges, flood defence, harbours, renewable energy, and private infrastructure sectors. With a strong order book and repeat business from public and private clients, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of key projects across the region.

Role Summary

As Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of civils projects from pre-start to handover, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes. You will be responsible for managing all site activities, coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors, and acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver civil engineering projects in line with programme, budget, and quality targets
  2. Lead and manage project teams including engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers
  3. Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
  4. Manage project risks and issues proactively
  5. Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  6. Monitor project progress and prepare reports for senior management
