This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
As our Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working on our Thames Water Capital Delivery contract in Reading area.
The works will consist of wastewater network upgrade (Rising & Gravity Main, Trenchless Crossing) in Thames Valley.
You'll provide effective procurement and management of subcontractors, from agreement of terms and conditions, risk attribution and scope through to Final Account.
You'll manage and mentor Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyors and work closely with the operational teams.
You'll be administering the bespoke Principal Contract containing, among others, elements of NEC and I Chem E Burgundy Book. Manage change through the early warning and variation process with both the Client and the subcontractors alike. Value and Margin maximisation.
You'll be producing or supporting with the production of CVRs, applications for payment and costs Forecasts. Close monitoring of staff, material, plant and other resources on site.
