About the Company

Our client, a leading cost consultancy, is seeking a MRICS Chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cambridge. You will be joining a vibrant and collaborative team working on high-profile, exclusive projects in London. Working across the real estate sectors including major project residential, hotels, commercial offices, stadiums, life science, education, and healthcare, this is an opportunity to work with leading developers and clients on some of the most exciting major projects in the capital with values exceeding £100 million.

About the Role

Your core responsibilities will include:

1. Leading all elements of cost management from initiation to completion.
2. Managing multiple projects and/or large-scale projects with key clients.
3. Delivering high-level feasibility studies, cost estimates, and cost plans at each stage of the design process.
4. Supporting and supervising junior team members to ensure efficient and productive cost management services.
5. Assisting the senior team with business planning and contributing to securing repeat business and attracting new clients.
6. Preparing and issuing tender documents.
7. Managing the tender process, evaluating and analyzing tender returns, and providing recommendations to clients, along with procurement advice.
8. Analyzing construction design costs and alternative proposals to ensure project budgets are maintained.
9. Providing advice on building contract terms.
10. Implementing effective post-contract cost control procedures, including assessing changes and negotiating final account settlements.
11. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and consultants.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

Salary up to £75,000 basic, plus a competitive benefits package.
