Job summary

Innovo Global Talent is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major automation upgrade at a UK facility in Wigan. You will own installation, testing and delivery, coordinating stakeholders to keep the programme on track.

Based onsite in Wigan, you’ll typically work 3–5 days per week (more during early phases) and support the removal of legacy equipment while integrating new automated units, ensuring a high-visibility, long-term role.

A major automation provider has just launched a 4‑year transformation programme on a long‑established UK facility. The site is undergoing a full modernisation, replacing legacy systems and upgrading an old automated operation.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in automation, warehousing, cranes or similar.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Full ownership— installation, testing, coordination and delivery
• Leading internal and external stakeholders through each phase
• Supporting the removal of legacy equipment and integration of new automated units
• Working closely with the Programme Lead to keep delivery tight, structured and on track
• Onsite presence in Wigan, typically 3–5 days per week (more during early phases)
