Job summary

Ganymede Solutions in Lichfield is seeking a Project Manager for Warehouse & Logistics Automation on a 12-month contract. You will lead projects from initiation to completion, managing budgets, programmes and forecasting.

The role requires an engineering background (HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) and proven experience with warehouse automation. Experience managing subcontractors and site teams, plus proficiency in MS Project, MS Office and AutoCAD, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience.
• Engineering background with a minimum HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in warehouse automation, material handling or automated systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong knowledge of MS Project and MS Office.
• AutoCAD experience; SAP knowledge would be beneficial.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects from start to finish including budgets, programmes, costs and forecasting.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, materials and deliveries.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and manage contractual requirements.
• Ensure CDM, H&S and quality requirements are maintained throughout the project.
• Manage project documentation and handover through to completion.

Project Manager | Warehouse & Logistics Automation

Location: Lichfield

Duration: 12-month contract

Rates: £650/day Umbrella or £500/day + £60 holiday pay PAYE

The Role

• Project Delivery: Manage projects from start to finish, including budgets, programmes, costs and forecasting
• Site Management: Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, materials and deliveries
• Client Management: Act as a key point of contact for customers and manage contractual requirements
• Health & Safety: Ensure CDM, H&S and quality requirements are maintained throughout the project
• Handover: Manage project documentation and formal handover through to completion

What I'm Looking For

• Proven Project Management experience
• Engineering background with minimum HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Ideally experience within warehouse automation, material handling or automated systems
