Job summary

Kenton Black in Milton Keynes is seeking a Project Manager for a £20M industrial build, including demolition and a new steel portal frame unit. You will run the project from inception through to handover with full autonomy, reporting to the Contracts Manager.

The role requires a proven No.1 Project Manager on portal frame industrial/logistics projects, CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates, and strong subcontract management and progress reporting to senior management.

Regional build contractor are looking for a Project Manager on either as freelance, permanent or a freelance to permanent basis for the construction of a £20Million industrial unit, project will involve the demolition of existing building and the construction of a new steel portal frame unit. Reporting to the visiting Contracts Manager you will have full autonomy for the running of the project from inception through the full build stage through to final handover. Primary responsibilities and duties will involve ensuring the programme is adhered to, subcontract management, chairing client/subcontractor progress meetings as well as issuing progress reports to senior management team. Proven track record as the no.1 Project Manager and a proven employment history working on portal frame industrial/logistic unit projects would be an essential requirement.
CSCS Card. SMSTS and First Aid certificates will be a mandatory requirement.
