Job summary

Kenton Black is seeking a Project Manager for a £20M industrial unit construction project. The role involves demolition of an existing building and construction of a new steel portal frame unit, with full autonomy from inception through handover.

You will ensure the programme is followed, manage subcontractors, chair progress meetings, and deliver progress reports to senior management. CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Project Manager on portal frame industrial/logistic unit projects.
• Experience with demolition and new build.
• Experience in managing multi-million £ projects.
• CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates are mandatory.

Job description

Regional build contractor are looking for a Project Manager on either as freelance, permanent or a freelance to permanent basis for the construction of a £20Million industrial unit, project will involve the demolition of existing building and the construction of a new steel portal frame unit. Reporting to the visiting Contracts Manager you will have full autonomy for the running of the project from inception through the full build stage through to final handover. Primary responsibilities and duties will involve ensuring the programme is adhered to, subcontract management, chairing client/subcontractor progress meetings as well as issuing progress reports to senior management team. Proven track record as the no.1 Project Manager and a proven employment history working on portal frame industrial/logistic unit projects would be an essential requirement.
CSCS Card. SMSTS and First Aid certificates will be a mandatory requirement.
