Project Manager
Location: Maidstone Outskirts
Contract Type: 18 months FTC

Overview

Join a global leader in manufacturing as a Project Manager, overseeing complex medium to large capital projects within a continuous operating facility. Responsibilities
  1. Manage a team of engineers and specialists from proposal and budgeting through design, installation, training, and commissioning.
  2. Develop schematics, proposals, and detailed cost estimates for revenue or capital projects.
  3. Define project scope, conduct pre-engineering work, and support accurate cost estimation.
  4. Review and specify drawings for components and equipment, providing technical supervision.
  5. Schedule project phases from preliminary work to installation, including procurement and progress reporting.
  6. Ensure compliance with legislation such as CDM and control procedures.
  7. Coordinate commissioning activities with operations and collaborate with purchasing to define guarantees and contract details.
  8. Maintain financial oversight, ensuring budget adherence and value optimization.
Requirements
  • Experience managing projects over £10M.
  • Qualification in an engineering discipline.
  • Project Management and Health & Safety certifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to self-development.
