Ipsum Power is seeking a Project Manager to lead site operations for Low Voltage projects within the Power Division. You will oversee site staff, engage sub-contractors, manage equipment, and ensure safety, quality and environmental targets are met.

The role emphasizes customer focus and strong leadership across project delivery. Responsibilities include daily management, performance monitoring, incident investigation, and ensuring resources and timelines are aligned with contracts.

Formación

• Proven experience in a Project Management role within power/utilities or infrastructure
• City & Guilds Electrical Qualification desirable
• Knowledge of assessing and certifying sub-contractor applications for payments
• Experience in customer service or a customer-focused environment with performance management

Responsabilidades

• Day-to-day management of site staff, sub-contractors, vehicles, equipment, and site issues
• Monitor site staff performance with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment
• Ensure incidents are reported, investigated, and remedies implemented
• Monitor performance and safety requirements and drive improvements
• Survey and quote projects based on contract schedules of rates
• Ensure resources are adequate for workload and timely project delivery
• Implement Ipsum Power policies and improvement action plans
• Comply with Ipsum Power and OHL policies and instructions

About the role…

The Project Manager is responsible for providing strong leadership, contract management, project delivery, and strategic planning. Customer driven within the Power Division, ensuring safety, financial and operational targets are met or exceeded, maintaining exceptional customer service levels across all the projects they are responsible for. You will be responsible for looking after Low Voltage projects.

As a Project Manager you will have…

• Day to day management of site staff, sub-contractors, vehicles, equipment, and issues arising from sites
• Actively monitor performance of all site staff including subcontractors with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment
• Ensure all incidents are reported and investigated, with remedies implemented.
• Monitor performance and safety requirements regularly and implement improvements.
• Survey and quote individual projects based on a contract schedule of rates
• Ensure resources are adequate for the workload and that projects are delivered in an economic and timely manner.
• Ensure Ipsum Power policies and improvement action plans are effectively implemented, monitored, and audited.
• Operate in full compliance with Ipsum Power and OHL policies, procedures, and instructions.

About You

• Proven experience in a Project Management role, within the power, utilities or infrastructure sector, with OHL experience
• City & Guilds Electrical Qualification desireable
• Knowledge of assessing and certifying sub-contractor applications for payments
• Proven experience of working in customer service or a customer focused environment with performance management responsibility
