Job summary

Ipsum Power is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of Low Voltage LCT projects in the Livingston/Oban area. You will oversee site staff, subcontractors, and resources to meet safety, quality and financial targets while maintaining excellent customer service.

The role requires proven project management experience in power distribution, a City & Guilds Electrical qualification, and strong contract management skills. A committed, customer-focused leader is essential.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Project Management position in Power Distribution Transmission Sector.
  • City & Guilds Electrical Qualification.
  • Knowledge of assessing and certifying sub-contractor applications for payments.
  • Proven experience of working in customer service or a customer focused environment with performance management responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of site staff, sub-contractors, vehicles and equipment.
  • Monitor performance of site staff for Health and Safety, Quality and Environment.
  • Ensure incidents are reported and investigated with remedies.
  • Monitor safety requirements and implement improvements.
  • Survey and quote projects based on contract schedules of rates.
  • Ensure resources are adequate for workload and timely delivery.
  • Enforce Ipsum Power policies and improvement action plans.

About the role…

Project Manager is responsible for providing strong leadership, contract management, project delivery, and strategic planning. Customer driven within the Power Division, ensuring safety, financial and operational targets are met or exceeded, maintaining exceptional customer service levels across all the projects they are responsible for. You will be responsible for looking after Low Voltage LCT projects.

As a Project Manager you will have…
  • Day to day management of site staff, sub-contractors, vehicles, equipment, and issues arising from sites
  • Actively monitor performance of all site staff including subcontractors with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment
  • Ensure all incidents are reported and investigated, with remedies implemented.
  • Monitor performance and safety requirements regularly and implement improvements.
  • Survey and quote individual projects based on a contract schedule of rates
  • Ensure resources are adequate for the workload and that projects are delivered in an economic and timely manner.
  • Ensure Ipsum Power policies and improvement action plans are effectively implemented, monitored, and audited.
  • Operate in full compliance with Ipsum Power and OHL policies, procedures, and instructions.

  • Proven experience in a Project Management position in Power Distribution Transmission Sector
  • City & Guilds Electrical Qualification
  • Knowledge of assessing and certifying sub-contractor applications for payments
  • Proven experience of working in customer service or a customer focused environment with performance management responsibility
